Birth photography is slowly but surely becoming a common thought in a soon-to-be mommy’s head. Just recently has this photojournalistic imagery made it’s way to parents around the world. These moments are the very most intense, exciting, emotional, overwhelming, beautiful, and insane moments of your entire life. The crazy thing is how fast it all flies by…
That’s where I come in. I’d like to say birth photography is something that comes naturally to me…maybe it’s that I think it’s the most beautiful thing on the planet, or that I’m a mommy myself, or that it produces the most raw, emotional images I have ever taken, or the fact that it is just an absolute miracle!!! But I just love those split second moments, the hardest, most trying hours of your life, then those beautiful first seconds of life, the overflowing amount of love that fills the room, and the effortless way you become mommy and daddy. I’m there to capture all of that. No Daddys worrying about where the camera is, or how quick his flash will work, and in the end, not being in any photos from the biggest day of your life.
Take a few minutes and watch some amazing birth stories…moments I’ll never forget…and now, they won’t either.
